This edition was quite different from previous ones, with an extended deadline and doubled prizes in all categories – up to $14,000 from a $66,000 prize pool! šŸ¤‘ We gave you more time to polish your submissions, and it was worth it. The winning Spectacles Lenses truly showcase what happens when a brilliant mind voices their creativity.

1st Place: Hexenfurt Memories by GrowPile

Hexenfurt Memories is a procedurally generated escape room Lens where players solve puzzles, uncover secrets, and delve deeper into a lingering curse with every session. Collect lore pages to unravel the story, attempt to escape the haunted mansion, and compete globally for the fastest escape time.

2nd Place: Fruit Defense by Stijn Spanhove & Pavlo Tkachenko

Alien Fruit Defense is a game for Spectacles where players protect real fruit from waves of alien worms, using hand tracking to squash enemies. A custom ML model detects apples and bananas in real time, enabling interactive gameplay with advanced visuals, wave-based challenges, and solo or multiplayer modes on Spectacles.

3rd Place: Artel by Yegor Ryabtsov

Artel is a spatial painting app that transforms the space around you into a 3D canvas. With 18 brushes, including animated effects like fire, smoke, and electricity, palm-based menus, quick-access controls, and layer management, it gives users full creative control. Scenes are saved persistently via Snap Cloud as lightweight JSON, letting your work regenerate exactly as you left it, turning Artel from a drawing toy into a true creative tool.

Runner up: Bitmoji Simulator by Danny Marree & Liam Mason

Bitmoji Simulator is a persistent idle farming game for Spectacles where players grow crops, feed animals, and sell produce to upgrade their farm. Place your Bitmoji near production areas to boost output, hire friends to increase earnings, and interact with over five dynamic events, including weather. All Bitmoji animations are captured using body tracking, bringing your avatar to life

Runner up: Don’t Pick the Banana! by Lafiya Watson

Don’t Pick the Banana! is a quirky game show where players navigate five rounds of risky choices. Inspired by Ren & Stimpy, Press Your Luck, and snarky AI personalities like GLaDOS, each round offers a gift: pick cash to win or a banana to lose a life and all your money. Survive all rounds to earn a spot on the leaderboard. Just be careful not to pick the banana!

Lens Update Category

⭐ The Lens Update category invites you to revisit and enhance an already published Lenses, adding new features or refinements to unlock monetization and gain extra visibility.

1st Place: Card Master by Harry Banda

Card Master has evolved from a UNO-only experience into a full Snap card platform with three new classic games: President, a fast-paced climbing game; Old Maid, a strategic matching challenge; and Crazy Eights, a dynamic suit-shifting contest.

Each game features interactive tutorials, unlockable achievements, and a full practice mode. Players can now face up to three AI opponents, enjoy improved card-grabbing and hand interactions, and experience smoother card animations, marking the start of Card Master’s expansion into a complete suite of digital card experiences.

2nd Place: MiNiMIDI AI by Elsa Farrokhzad

MINIMIDI AI is an AI-powered music creation studio for Spectacles that generates unique instrument loops on demand using Google’s Lyria AI model via Remote Service Gateway. Users can mix and create beats in real time, with a volume dot pool visualizer synced to Lyria, enhanced button interactions, and an improved UI for a smoother, more interactive music-making experience.

3rd Place: HoloATC 1.0.0.6 by Joost van Schaik

The Lens now shows aircraft around your GPS or any named location, offers an optional 50 km overview mode, features a rebuilt UIKit interface, improved visible trails, and optimized performance for smoother, longer use.

Open Source Category

⭐ This category welcomes open-source Lenses on GitHub, including those using Experimental APIs, giving you the freedom to push boundaries and break new ground without requiring Lens Explorer publication.

1st Place: LobbyToolkit by Joshua & Baruch

LobbyToolkit is an open-source framework for building real-time multiplayer experiences on Snapchat Spectacles. Powered by SnapCloud, it handles networking, lobbies, player syncing, chat, and object synchronization, letting creators focus on immersive shared AR experiences, from collaborative puzzles to multiplayer games and shared art canvases.

2nd Place: Snap OS Location Tools by Pieter Siekerman

This open-source Lens for Spectacles works with GPS location and compass heading data, leveraging Snap OS 2.0 features such as UI Kit, Mobile Kit, Transparent Permissions, and the Location, Map, and Interaction Kits. Fully available on GitHub, it allows creators to learn from it, adapt it, and use it in their own projects.

3rd Place: Hexenfurt Toolbox by Nikola Kazakov

Hexenfurt Toolbox is a project template that compiles key backbone scripts from Hexenfurt Memories, offering an easy-to-use setup that showcases available scripts and provides additional examples for reference.
