You did your part, and now itβs our turn. π Over the past few weeks, we worked alongside Snapchatβs team to review and select the best and most engaging AR Lenses submitted for the Spring Into Action Lensathon. As always, making the choice was incredibly hard.
We set a very specific task: create Lenses that are interactive, culturally relevant, and globally relatable. π We can confidently say that you understood the assignment. π
But before we unveil the winners, let us thank you all for the record engagement. π«Ά Weβre thrilled to report that the Snap AR x Lenslist Spring Into Action Lensathon received 1230 submissions, making it one of the most participated Challenge weβve had the opportunity to host! π
What about the prizes?
In the main competition, we rewarded over 36 Lenses with a share of $30,000 across 4 different categories: Pop Culture, Interactive, Self-Expression, and The World Around You. In each of these categories, participants could win 4 types of prizes: 1st place ($2500), 2nd place ($1500), 3rd place ($1000) and Runners-up ($250). πΈ
