Winners Announcement #2 C4C: Our Future Planet

Selecting the Winners and choosing the best Effects from as many as 363 extraordinary works does not sound easy and it certainly is not – because we enjoy every each one of them and recognize the amount of time, effort, and energy you all put into creating something big all by yourselves 💪💭⏳ You deserve the world, believe us! 👏 THANK YOU for participating and CONGRATULATIONS to ALL OF YOU 🧡🧡🧡

Now a few important notes on our judging process: Concerning our event’s rules and winning criteria, the Effects were divided into two tracks: World AR and Face Masks. Accordingly, we assigned two types of prizes to them:

For World AR – 2 x $5000 🥇and 10 x $1000 🥈

For Face Masks – 5 x $3000 🥇and 5 x $1000 🥈

As usual, we based our choices on four criteria:

25%: Craftsmanship: technical achievements, capabilities used, ability to take advantage of the platform;

25% Originality: uniqueness, difference from other submissions;

25%: Creativity: creativity of elements used to create the Effect;

25%: Theme: how well the Effect makes use of the contest theme;

It was extremely hard to pick the winning Effects – hours of debating and a lot of amazing works to choose from – but thanks to our additional judges and Software Engineers from Meta – Daria Mamaeva and Christian Kruse – we were able to make the final decision. But remember – for us, you are all Winners 🥳💛 and apart from the Awardees and top Effects, we also spotted many Creators, who took a huge leap in terms of their skills over the last couple of weeks. This AR Gallery made of your contributions shows the power of our AR Community – it’s constantly growing and we couldn’t be more happy and excited that we’re making these leaps together! 💖
