Hi Hari! Please, tell us something about yourself.

Hari Tahov is from Sofia, Bulgaria. He migrated to United States for Fashion college, FIDM in 2015. After fashion college Hari took on the Film Production Degree which he graduated from in February 2020. Upon graduating Hari created www.filterscreator.com where he takes freelance orders from brands and celebrities for their AR filter experiences. He works directly with the client to make sure the AR experience meets the brand needs.

How many effects have you created so far and for which platforms?

Hari have worked with 50 brands over the year and have posted 60+ on his own page.

Name the best effects you created and briefly describe them.

My best filter design is Crystal Pearl as it combines beauty and fashion in a luxurious, yet stylish way.

My most artistic filter is Hypnotic Healing which is quite complex. There’s multiple layers and materials incorporated to make you hypnotized with amazed.

Which platform for creating AR filters is your favourite and why?

Instagram is my favorite platform for filters because been there since 2011 and I’m super excited that Instagram has created the work opportunity for creators like myself.

What in your opinion makes an AR effect successful?

The idea is super important. Many creators copy each other, but if you create something different and original that represents you or the brand, no one can copy it or see it as something else but your own art piece.
