Hi, Nick! Please, tell us something about yourself.

I’m Nick and I’m from Sofia, Bulgaria. I’m the first Official Snapchat Lens Creator here. I’ve been creating AR experiences for 2 years now. I am a freelancer that is looking for clients.

How many effects have you created so far and for which platforms?

More than 40 on Snapchat. And I have a lot more not published.

Name the best effects you created and briefly describe them.

Snowy Playground: One of my best & most advanced lenses. In this filter the user was aiming in the AR space, and by tapping again he shoots a Snow Ball at the target! The lens also uses Dynamic Text that display’s the user’s Snapchat username.

Which Simpson Are You? Again one of my favourite lenses from mine ,because coding it was super fun!

Helios Bust: This filter definitely wins third place with the aesthetic looks of it!

Which platform for creating AR filters is your favourite and why?

Snapchat, because I love the community & that’s where I started.

What in your opinion makes an AR effect successful?

User interaction. For me user interaction in an AR lens just makes it 10 times better.
